There is something special to be said about trees. Trees feed us with delicious fruits and nutritious nuts. Trees provide us with wood for building houses and wood for burning fires to keep people warm or to cook our fish as well as providing us with a way to toast marshmallows. Trees also shelter people from the rain and shade us from the sun. Is it crazy to say that we survive from trees? You can even take a quiz to see what type of tree you are. I took this quiz and I am an Evergreen Pine Tree. Trees are important to our society.

For some reason, trees are my go to thing. When I want to paint or draw, I automatically know that I can create a tree and always be proud of my work. Where did/does my love of trees come from? Perhaps from a time when I was much younger and I owned a special book. The Giving Tree was my favorite book growing up. It is a simple book with black and white texts and drawings. The only thing of color is the colorful multi-green cover. The book is an easy read for anyone. The Giving Tree is about a boy who goes to a tree and plays with it. The tree gives it apples so the boy can sell them for money. As the boy gets older it keeps coming back to the tree. The tree gives the man branches so he can build a house and its trunk so the man can carve a boat. When nothing but the stub of the tree is left the boy just wants a nice quiet place to sit. Everyone can interpret the story differently but the main censuses comes down to giving unconditional love to something forever and always. Like how our Labrador Retrievers give us unconditional love and happiness, The Giving Tree provides as much as possible to the boy in the story and the tree expects nothing or asks for nothing in return. The Giving Tree is still one of my favorite books today. A book I plan on giving to my children and I desperately hope they get as much pleasure out of the book that I get. Stay Strong! London Bridge Love!

What does it mean if you put your love lock on the London Bridge? It means that your relationship is beautiful! It means that sometimes it may feel like the relationship is sinking. Don’t you worry though. Something will come around to save and rebuilt you. And your relationship is going to last a long time! Happy Valentine’s Day! Stay Strong!

Be Happy!

Jean Paul said something among the lines of “sleep, riches, and health are only truly enjoyed after they have interrupted.” Just think about it! We cannot appreciate these things unless we know what it is like to be without them. So we can go a night or two without sufficient sleep because we know that soon enough we will have it. We can survive the cold winters of the Midwest because the warm payoff brings joy and happiness to our minds! There will always be moments in our lives that do not bring happiness to us but these moments will pass! In times of sadness, try to think of things that make you happy! For me, I know that music makes me happy. If I start singing some song, any song, I feel a change. I also know that in times of darkness its hard to find the light. Sometimes I just cannot remember what makes me happy. But soon enough it comes to me just like it will come to you! “Don’t worry, Be happy!”

So Here I Am!

A few months back I decided I wanted to do something “big” for the year 2015 and beyond. While a blog may not seem like a big thing for others, I’m sure the people in Blogging 101 as well as myself feel quite differently. So here I am! When I thought about starting a blog I did not know what I wanted to write about. What am I extremely passionate and knowledgeable about where I can write endless posts about that one subject? Um, absolutely NOTHING! Well really the only thing I can think about is life, about the world around me. I have a passion for writing about anything and everything but I struggle in finding a place where I can share my thoughts. So here I am! I hope this can be a place to inspire you and to try to make you think outside of your box. I hope you can laugh and cry with me while I share the thoughts and adventures, whether good or bad, that life has let in. There is so much beauty in the world I hope to share with you. So here is a little bit about me and what is to come! I am currently a college student living in a wonderful town! I have many struggles including my job, my school work, my health, and all those other normal people struggles. I love animals (dogs especially) and I try to live for those moments when you can conquer your fears, no matter what size! I am a person who needs change in order to be happy and I will always encourage a change, no matter what size! I find that people are awesome and crazy and people make my world interesting. I love to laugh and smile and I am always looking for things that will make my heart melt. So here I am! I hope you enjoy my blog and I hope I can inspire you!
